Firing Pearman is such an obvious decision that I can’t understand why it hasn’t already happened. There are certain red lines that can’t be crossed and the use racial slurs in any context is one of them. It’s really that simple. It shouldn’t have taken 3 years to happen.
He’s also a bad coach and terrible recruiter on top of that. The longer this drags on the worse it looks and the more it will reflect poorly on Dabo and the university.

You weren’t on the field that day. You don’t know the exact facts. Danny said he was wrong...apologized then and a couple of days ago. That’s good enough. He is forgiven. We move forward. He doesn’t deserve to lose his job 3 years later because mainstream media has started a damn race war and thinks nothing of ruining innocent people’s lives.

Braden Galloway the top TE was out most of last year. If Peerman called plays maybe we would have gone to him more in last years championship game. Leggett was an awesome TE.

I have wanted Pearman fired for years based on his average at best recruiting efforts and average (IMO) coaching.
I don't think this situation, based on the facts that we have been given, warrants his removal though. Dabo clearly felt like it did not rise to removal back three years ago, so he shouldn't reverse that decision now based on pressure from the media (again, assuming the facts have not changed).
