Hey Iceheart08 What do u and the rest of the Libs Think of our New

As a student who leans left I think it's pretty ghey that regular students will more than likely never get to use any of the stuff like putt putt

This sums up the whole generation. Not bad people. I hire and fire them everyday. They are an entitled bunch.

Somehow they think they deserve what others have worked for. Had a guy tell me last week that he should be making the same thing as his boss because he worked just as hard as he did. He has been doing his job ok. Came to me with no experience and wants to make the same as a guy with 35 years experience and 18 years with me. SMH

I both agree and disagree. A lot of old people don't do anything but delegate and typically make 4 times as much as a entry level employee.

Do you have good metrics on these guys? And do you actually know what they do? Bc most management has no idea how their employees perform...performance should definitely play a larger role in salary based wages.

You should fire him for being that stupid.

When did @johnhugh say he deserved to use the new facilities or that he should be able to in any way? He just said it sucks that the "regular students" don't get to. He didn't say he thought they should or that he deserved to.

Personally, I think it really sucks that I don't get paid a million bucks a year to play video games and smoke weed all day. That's a true statement. It does suck. Doesn't mean I think I should or that I deserve to or that I'm entitled to.

If I was a student right now I would want to use those facilities too. Doesn't mean I would think I'm somehow entitled to- just that I'd want to.

Fair enough, but in my business you cannot be taught in school what we do. I have a masters in my field from Clemson, and I knew about 5% of what I needed to know to do what I do now.

So are you saying that you can make the Big Macs faster than your co- workers and your store manager still won't give you a raise?

Don't bring us into your coup d'état with McDonald's. Sorry they can't making them faster than you can eat them.

Oh. I agree talent outweighs fundamentals with hard work being the kicker. But I would say 80% of the time once an employee has more than 15 years at the same job then they are coasting and have figured out how to beat the system and collect checks. True statement

SMH at this. In my experience there are just as many boomers and gen x ers that have entitlement problems as Millenials. lost count of the people i work with who complain about not getting a raise and they haven't grown as an employee in 10 years... many of them have degraded in value because they aren't keeping up changing tools and industry standards. also real sick of the idea that leaning left is liberal. lots of young persons embrace fiscally conservative ideas and limitted government but believe in personal freedoms, and you can believe that the government has some legitimate functions other than national defense without being a socialist.

millenials are more fiscally responsible with their own money than the generation before them. if we are talking about beefs with the entitled lets talk boomers for a second... the generation that came into the american workforce when the debt to GDP ratio was 30% and are walking out with it at 100%. Apparently they thought they were entitled to run up 70% of a year's salary in loans and pass it down to their children. can't blame their kids for trying to do the same.

plenty of entitlement problems across all age groups... i don't identify as a millennial but some of yall would lump me in there.

Probably so. I bet you are just a nerd without a social life who studies all the time and just regurgitates the things you read in books without any actual real thoughts of your own.

Quite the opposite. We actually did an exercise in public health today where the idea was social justice in healthcare. I had all the pennies in my group and instead of giving more to the public system so others could live I kept all the pennies to myself and laughed at the poors while they died. #America

Exactly. You regurgitated the most bs, were rewarded with pennies and left the room thinking that you were the smartest person in it.

football operations facility?
@iceheart08
It's unbelievable. It is greatest facility ever created. There has never been a better football facility ever built ..... PERIOD!!! It's HUGE. Size does matter. And for the media to portray it any other way is disrespectful. To say that Oregon's facility in 2009 or O'BAMA's in 2013 had more actual visits from 5 star recruits is not true. I could provide alternative facts to support my statement but .......

I went to public school. I didn't play football in HS. Basketball

as a token moderate on the board that is often called a lib and worse by the cruz and trump crowd, i am 100% pro Football Ops Facility.

Have no problem investing 100% of what football brings in back into football.

The advertising the school gets from football is as much as it deserves.

I hear you bro... moderate here as well.

I actually like the idea that some of the football's income goes back to Clemson. For example, if a professor gets a huge DoE grant, the university gets a cut of that cash, and in return that professor doesn't have to worry about maintenance, heating/electric, and tons of other services that the university is better able to offer. Most of that cash actually trickles down to the professor level, but some of it stays with the deans.

It's the same with football MOST of the cash stays in the program, but some of it can help support the study facilities these guys use and other resources on campus.
