My dad was an educator. I grew up going to high school football games throughout the state (he attended every away game). I remember amazing crowds and it being a part of city pride. They were great events!
I’ve been coaching over a decade now…I’ve noticed that crowds are often parents/family now. There isn’t nearly as much community investment as there used to be.
My point is that high school football season is fast approaching. We have great football in this state! Go out and support your local team. On top of that, your 7 bucks is going to be reinvested into your community! Get your assess off the couch!
