20 seconds of a trailer written by a human and Hollywood is cooked? lol. FSD or AI movie, which happens first?
Lot more than 20 seconds here. You have to admit this is pretty insane, right? This tech is in its infancy. Can’t imagine what it will be like in 1-2 years.
FSD will happen within 30 days (or less!)
I’m not so sure the first AI movie is that far behind.
I should have added “in Austin”. So you don’t try to get me on a technicality.
But it’s happening. Slow at first and then all at once.
The AI movie creation has made leaps
And bounds in just the last 3-6 months. Imagine a year from now and then 5 years from now. You already can’t tell the difference between AI created and real life.
Hollywood is being disrupted at this very moment.
Movie producing is being democratized right now. I think we will see an explosion in creativity.

The Industrial Revolution wasn’t a good thing either.
Hollywood got too pompous anyway. They can learn to code though, no problem.
So really you just don’t like Hollywood and want to be petty instead of actually understanding the consequences.
In Atlanta/Georgia we have had a big boom in film/tv industry come here. All the Avenger movies were shot here. It has boosted our economy and brought so many jobs to people who aren’t just actors. You supporting this will be a net negative for society and Americans.
In one thread you want undocumented people to be gone so that Americans can have their jobs and get paid more. AI will become the new undocumented person and you can’t deport AI.

My opinion of Hollywood is irrelevant.
It’s just a fact that they will be losing the most jobs due to this technology.
Thinking technology is bad is quite a statement considering how comfortable our lives are, even at the lowest ends of the spectrum compared to history. Even our lowest income citizens live a comfortable life compared to the highest income citizens of years ago.
Technologically advanced has been great for humans in the past and there is no reason to be scared.
Your position reminds me of a trip to a small communist town in The Czech Republic where I met a young lady with parents who lived during the communists times. She said they had a good life and were communists because they liked the job security and the certainty of where the next pay check came from. They didn’t allow for disruption.
Freedom and capitalism comes with uncertainty and that is a good thing. It’s good because it leads to more comfortable lives for all humans.
Don’t be scared of the future.
Again, what you are saying goes against what you have said about undocumented immigrants and jobs/wages. Keep ignoring that.
Secondly, you are the one who called Hollywood pompous. You inserted your opinion.
Income inequality continues to rise as the rich get richer and more people fall into lower income brackets. AI will only exacerbate that going forward.
