There's already thousands infected in every county across this state and you'll never convince me otherwise.

I liken it to a Hurricane. A town is told you have 5 days to get ready, board up, get supplies, and leave if you feel you need to.
Trump is the guy who watches others get ready and then the day before it arrives he is trying to board up his house, he cant find supplies, and he blames everyone else instead of taking responsibility for being not prepared.

I do not listen live. I do go back and listen though when i cant listen live. That stunt yesterday was ridiculous but save the market.
Only 75805 currently CONFIRMED infected worldwide as of right now. There are probably 10-100 times that have contracted the disease, but have not been tested & confirmed, unless you can show they have tested everyone in the world. And even then, that would be one point in time. They could get it the next day and start spreading it.
Edit: Someone already pointed out that the number is double that, but my point was the difference between "confirmed infected" and "actually infected".
Think about it like this, say on a given Saturday night in Clemson, 10 people are arrested for DUI. They are confirmed to have driven drunk that Saturday night. But actually there may have been 100-200 other guys or gals that got in their car drunk and drove somewhere. They were just not caught (confirmed).
P.s. I know you are going to stick to your schtick and reality or the truth isn't going to stop you from looking stupid.

Seems like we are acting really quickly given the small amount of cases. I get that 1 case is one too many, but the measures we are taking is unprecedented.
I think it's always easier to criticize anything in hindsight, but these travel bans are drastic measures that occured pretty damn quick. I'm not suggesting we are necessarily overreacting, but I think you're reaching by acting like Trump (our gov't) doesn't think this is a big deal.

We have more than likely thousands of cases going without a test. We watched other countries respond quickly before the spread was debilitating. We just sat on the sidelines while the WHO, CDC, and doctors nationwide said, "hey this is coming and we arent prepared for it." That falls on our president.

I disagree. I think the American Culture is independent and different (not in a necessarily good way). I think that has a ton to do with it.
Make no mistake about it, if Trump had shut everything down a couple of weeks/months ago, the way that @clemsontyger04 is suggesting ITT, he'd have been part of the loudest bitch-fest, saying things like "He can't take away my freedom like this", and "Trump is a Nazi"!
