It has ruined the GOP forever. I was a Republican until Trump. Like many people, I don't envision the day of returning. Now, it isn't just Trump but people like Lindsay Graham, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz that have badly tarnished the party.
Let's start with decency and respect for people for starters. Let's continue by adding competence. (Unless you truly believe all of the doctors are asking Trump how he knows so much about coronavirus! Or believe Trump that he is smarter than all of the generals. Or believe Trump when he says windmills cause cancer (and that no one knows more about wind energy than him).) We have an ignorant and apathetic president. A guy who - in the most serious challenge of his presidency - goes to the CDC in a campaign hat claiming that everyone who wants a CV test can get one.
I am old enough to remember when the GOP and Trump fans had a field day saying President Obama lied when he said you could keep your doctor. After Trump's comments? Just crickets from the GOP.
It is enough for me to have a decent man who will surround himself with competent leaders (no Pruitts, Prices, Flynns, 4 chief of staffs, etc.) for the next 4 years. That is why Joe Biden will win the presidency.
I do appreciate a competent answer. As far as decency goes... Biden definitely isn’t as brash & arrogant as Trump but he’s not morally superior either “IMO”. Same goes with Obama & his little click that ran things for the 8 previous years. I actually consider them morally corrupt but wait a min.... Wasn’t Biden with them? Oh yea yea that’s right ok carry on.....
That ain't gonna happen. Regardless of which one gets in the WH (if any of them do, which is far from certain) they are gonna have to raise the hell out of taxes to pay for all the crap they are promising.
Probably a damn mess, honestly. Or at least "college for all" will be.
Theoretically I'm all for eliminating economic barriers to education and I think college tuition is probably bloated as hell but there are a lot of people who just shouldn't go to college.
I worry that a "college for all" scheme would wind up with a bazillion people with degrees in underwater basketweaving or some sort of bullshvt "-studies" degree but I won't be able to find anyone to fix my car or build a house.
Trump is the youngest potential candidate outside of Tulsi Gabbard, who the Dems are trying to torpedo right now. She never had a chance anyway but it does appear the democrats are scared of her for some reason. I know many blame her for ending Kamala Harris' campaign. So she's got that feather in her cap.
As to Romney - I always felt like he would have been a decent president but he was up against Obama who was insanely popular.
McCain should never have run. Honorable Sailor/Aviator, shit politician.

Which is all the more baffling that you support a President who bragged about grabbing women by their privates, paid hush money to a porn star and lied about it, has had multiple affairs, accused by multiple women for sexual assault, who dismissed a minister at the bipartisan prayer meeting for saying we should forgive our enemies (something Jesus preached), has mocked disabled people and said that POWs are not heroes because they were captured. None of this sounds very Christian to me.

The dietary laws are in the Old Covenant (Old Testament). Jesus fulfilled the Law & started the New Covenant (New Testament). The verses I shared from Acts are in the New Covenant in wich we live

I said ALL when asked if I believe all parts of the Bible. I did not say I live by the Torah or anything in the Old Covenant. I do “BELIEVE” it all happened & it's all true tho. And apparently you don’t even know the difference in the Old Covenant & the New Covenant but claim to be more of a Christian but I’m just chalking this 1 up to you not being wrapped very tight
