So I’ve never bet against Clemson, but I’m afraid this year if Clemson were to lose with potentially another trip to the CFP on the line, the level of anger I am going to have if we lose will lead to permanent health problems.
I am therefore debating betting on South Carolina to cover to hedge my overall disappointment on Saturday if our team goes in flat and disappoints.
My question is How much money would you need to win, not to be kick the dog mad if USofC were to beat Clemson on Saturday. And on the flip side, how much would you be willing to part with out of your 401k to watch Clemson win?
For me the number is around 2500$. I think I would feel relatively indifferent if I had to pay 2500 to watch Clemson win or if I got 2500 after a loss this weekend.
Just curious as to what everybody else thinks.
