Now that we are paying players with revenue share, could a case be made for a former player with NFL/pro experience to come back and play CFB if the following are true 1) player still has eligibility. 2) they enroll in school to finish a degree or get a graduate degree.
There will no longer be the amateur argument. After Covid we had 18 year olds competing with 26 year olds so the maturity argument is out. What would stop someone from coming back to play now under the right circumstances?
