As for reagan, he had 8 years as a public servant. Then ran for the R nomination in 1975 and failed. Then ran again 4 years later and won. And ultimately is a pillar of R legacy. He had a very average education from a small liberal arts school.
Harris went to a top undergrad and a top law school. She then spent 21 years in public service - as DA, AG of CA, then senator of CA, and VP. Her resume is far superior to Reagan( and he turned out pretty damn good.
