Guy is 22-17 (and 0-3 in Bowl Games). OU has a rabid and deep pocketed fan base. Hell, they have been cheating their asses since about the end of WW2.
The buyout seems like a non-issue, as I suspect both sides would waive it.
Seems like too proud of a man to make them fire him just so he could get more money.
Biggest variable/unknown is Julie’s health. I have heard that her prognosis is not great, but again, I don’t have any firsthand sources on that. Therefore, I assume he may want to be closer to Texas/MD Anderson if that is where she is treating.
I hope our folks (or Dabo himself) at least make a phone call this weekend.
