I still have questions about 81,000,000 votes

Ive yet to hear an actual good reason as to why someone would support NO ID for voting. I can only think of one reason someone would support it. But that's because nobody gives any good reasons.

I think most people can tell when someone is lying. Most people can sniff bullcrap.

Next time a cop ask for ID, just tell them you're on your way to vote.
How hard have you looked for the reason? Serious question.

Well, im not getting paid to find the reason. However, aside from being an ass and alienating friends, I try to have conversations with people in hopes of learning from them rather than force my opinions on them.

When you approach people that way, they tend to open up more. I would say, I have 4 "extremely liberal" friends. I have had this conversation with all 4 and here I am asking the reason. They are the only people I know who are so extreme, as a result, they're the only ones I can ask.

Yet here I am asking for just 1 good reason. Maybe they're bad communicators or maybe they don't know. Maybe you can shed some light? If you know me, you know I love learning, so I'm all ears!

The beta men that voted for Kamala did for 2 reasons:
1) They hate Trump
2) They want their daughters to have the right to kill their grandchild if they make a mistake and get pregnant.

That is it. Thats a helluva platform!!
hope your kid has to carry a rape baby to term.

Who knows?

Sent to me:
Here you go, this is not vetted/unverified:

Dems were freakin out and trying to figure out what to do. Apparently they sent 9 mail trucks with 1.5 million votes to PA to push Kamala there. Said the mail trucks were stopped by police and they’ve been covering it up. His brother in law who works in pentagon is source

No it won't
Probably not. But still 7 million uncounted in CA. Turnover is down overall, though. Just less interest. Trump got 74 million in 2020. He could get there just with 40% of California vote. But maybe not.
In the biggest electoral landslide in history in 1984 Reagan won 54 million to 37 million. But much lower population.

You really are a moron. Rape, incest and health of mother is common ground that Trump agrees with. You lefties are mental midgets, insane or both
but somehow not being implemented in the laws that are being passed.

And tell me the percentage of abortions that are really due to rape & incest?? I say very small number

That's over the line. Don't be a D1#k!!
feelings hurt?

that's actually happening to real people in the real world right now. that you think this is the problem is hilarious. you actively vote for people that support that line of thinking and get upset when i post your reality.

Just frustrates me that there are often reasons for stuff like this, but people would rather complain/blast it/assume nefarious reasons than google it.

One of the very first things when googled: https://ballotpedia.org/Arguments_for_and_against_voter_identification_laws

Obviously, many people are going to scoff, and say "how hard is..." etc etc, but it would affect a group of voters.

People are going to disagree, and that's fine. That's what we do as a nation, but there are have been studies, etc.

So you agree it was a fraudulent election? We're just arguing over the number of fraudulent votes. I'll take it.

No I dont, just shocked someone thinks 41 million votes were faked. That's a level of dumb and crazy I hadn't seen yet.

If it was so obviously faked, at least one of the cases would have been proven. How about even one where the actual proof held up?

Not trying to rub salt in the wound, as I’d rather be gracious in victory.

However, I will go to my grave believing ‘20 was a complete fraud election. Last night only strengthens this belief.

Thank goodness for the oversight last night (and no covid).

Heading to my grave with same belief

2020 was a fantastic Fraud job

the army’s of Republican lawyers at the polls stopped that this time

Well, the fundamental difference is I have a lot of distrust in the media for reasons stated above.

Rather than ask Google, I’ve asked actual people who support it but can’t explain why they do. I can almost tell you what Google says about anything, without looking at it.

Doesn’t make it wrong by any means. But given their history, it’s hard to look past just trusting “the expert search engine”.

Again, I’m fascinated by conversations. I love talking to people and finding out who they are. People will always disagree. That’s perfectly ok. I never look to be proven right, I just enjoy learning why people are different.

If you didn’t Google the reason you should support it, would you know? The 4 friends didn’t recite that Google search. Maybe they should Google why they believe it’s a good thing.

You are going off your rocker now. I thought you weren't a one issue voter? You realize abortion is now a state determined issue? Trump will not touch abortion issue at all.

I did know, but also knew a lot of people who are a lot more passionate than me have done actual studies, had numbers to back up their assertions, etc.

If either there was money spent to ensure every last citizen has a voter ID (however that would be done), OR an actual provable amount of fraud that would be stopped by Voter ID, I'd be on board.

For starters, rather than give Ukraine a few billion dollars (hundreds of millions at the least), start with ensuring everyone has ID. Just start somewhere instead of offering excuses.

I don't think any would have an issue with that except Ukraine.

When you get pulled over by a cop, one simply can't say "i lost my ID" and the cop say, ok have a great day! They will give you a ticket to appear and prove all of that at a later day. Once proven, you're on your way. That's just one example where ID is a must and there's not an excuse that cop will allow you to use without a penalty for not having it while operating a vehicle.

The argument you suggested is that minorities often lose their ID or simply "do not have one". Do they get to use that excuse when buying a beer? Businesses can lose their license for not carding people. Employees get fired and charged. Business get hammered with fines. I know of a person who's life was all but ruined because they sold to an undercover cop without carding.

Voting in a country's election seems just a tad more important than that.

"I lost my ID, can I still vote?"
"Sorry, you cannot. However, if you genuinely wanted to you would go through the proper channels to get it, find it our wait until next time."

ID for voting seems like the one thing I'd bet 75% of Americans agree with. But if that's the case, 25% don't. You can't please everyone, but you start with leading the majority.

The issue to me is driving and buying beer are not in the constitution. So if you want to add a level of hinderance to voting, I think the government has an obligation to pay for it or find a solution.

Exactly. If it didn't cost money to get an ID/Driver's License than I would have no issue with it being required.

For a lot of people, there is also travel costs they may not have money/access to, and a lot of red tape because they may also have to go to the county to get a Birth Certificate, which they would have to pay for as well.

I can't imagine life without an ID. But I am able to see the numbers given of the people that would be affected, and I haven't been shown a discernable reason for it other than people's feelings.

There are many, many people who don't drive either do to financial restraints, or maybe due to living in a city that has public transportation. There is zero reason for those folks to pay to get a Driver's License

Common sense. The federal government needs to ensure that federal elections are fair. If the people in State A are ok with not requiring valid ID and proof of citizenship to vote in State elections, that's on them. However for federal elections are a different story.
No. Good Lord. The fair voting act they'll call it. Like the inflation reduction act.
