If Big 10 and SEC break off and have their own league and leave out the rest of college football including CL, FSU, Miami, etc. I would propose the Big 12 merge with the ACC and move to an NFL model with and AFC (Atlantic Football Conference) and an BFC (Big Football Conference). Each conference would have 4 divisions with 4 teams. It would also allow for expansion if the league wanted to. I know all of us, me included can't get into one of the SEC/Big 10 leagues fast enough, but this could be our next best option. This leaves out BC and WF. If ND doesn't join conference, you could replace ND with either BC or WF or go out and get a different team in that region (Memphis, Tulane, etc.). Would be same format as NFL with exception of playing everyone twice in your division. Instead you would play 3 other teams in your division, 4 from another division in your conference, and 4 from the opposing conference. That would be 11 games, Everyone could play 1 OOC/Rival game and then 2 preseason warmup games against other teams that are just scrimmages.
