Would you rather come play for Clemson or South Carolina? Assume that there are no family ties, biases, etc... and assume the money is equal (all though they can probably pay more)
5-10 years ago it was no brainer for Clemson but I'm not sure that's the case anymore. In the year 2025 I think the coaches and facilities are equal. There home atmosphere is better imo (partially because they host bigger games, and I don't think any of us are happy with some of the changes to our gameday). As a fan, the ACC is nice because its an easier path to the playoffs. But if you're a hyper competitive young man, you want those juices flowing every gameday so they would obviously prefer playing in the SEC. Them pulling in the majority of the top in state recruits is what had me thinking about the topic and maybe some of you shouldn't be so surprised by the traction they are picking up.
