In my book people escaping from communist nations should go front of the line for asylum hearings.
Mayorkas should be near the top of the list to impeach when the repubs take over. They have a long list of stuff to do. We know there will be no meaningful actual legislation work done so the repubs should actually go scorched earth mode after the dems to the greatest extent possible. Do not get me started on this omnibus bill since they are funding the fbi so they will tell the repubs to take it and stick it with no danger of lost funding.
