Did all IPTAY members receive a survey on how the elimination of the tax break of donating to a university to be able to purchase tickets possibly going away will affect their giving to IPTAY? Curious to hear people's thoughts on this.
I know there was a thread a couple of weeks ago. Curious on how people feel now that they have had time to think about the elimination of this tax break if you itemize your deductions.
My thoughts are if you itemize deductions you might or might not be better off. It depends on if the increase in the standard deduction helps or hurts you.
The part about not being able to deduct property taxes is probably the biggest concern.
