@Paul Strelow as everyone knows, CU's best success the last decade has come on the back of excellent QB play. From all appearances by coaching, portal, etc. moves made the last few weeks, Swinney is intent on getting back to competing for national championships.
All that being said is Blake Hebert THE guy for his class at CU? I mean it seems he's a good QB, however in years past perhaps he might be the 2nd QB take and there would be a top rated guy as the 1st take. Are they checking in on higher rated QBs, or are they done with the Herbert take?
So to follow up with a couple questions:
* Does the staff consider Herbert to be of that top notch quality?
* Or, do they consider him to be serviceable, and they're building a better, more talented offense around him?
* or, is it both/and?
This post isn't a knock on him at all. I'd just like a better understanding of the staffs thoughts about QB for that class.
