In looking at possible new DC options and seeing some prefer a 3-4, it got me thinking. Does our current personnel work better in a 3-4 alignment? I think an argument could be made for it. Heldt and TJ Parker both seem like they could play just as well without their hand in the dirt. Possible Jeremiah Alexander as well. If we get Cape back, he’s a perfect NT.
It would look something like this:
Woods — Capeheart — Green
Parker —— Brown ——- Woodaz -— Heldt
Terrell -— Barnes —- Jones? —- Hampton
I think Burley could probably be a NT as well. Gives more room for Amare Adams to get some PT. You could rotate edge guys like Parker/Heldt/Alexander/Lawson pretty easily and allows you to be multiple. Could be interesting. Thoughts?
