US taxpayer dollars were going to be spent on the following items, all which have been cancelled:
- $10M for "Mozambique voluntary medical male circumcision"
- $9.7M for UC Berkeley to develop "a cohort of Cambodian youth with enterprise driven skills"
- $2.3M for "strengthening independent voices in Cambodia"
- $32M to the Prague Civil Society Centre
- $40M for "gender equality and women empowerment hub"
- $14M for "improving public procurement" in Serbia
- $486M to the “Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening,” including $22M for "inclusive and participatory political process" in Moldova and $21M for voter turnout in India
- $29M to "strenghening political landscape in Bangladesh"
- $20M for "fiscal federalism" in Nepal
- $19M for "biodiversity conversation" in Nepal
- $1.5M for "voter confidence" in Liberia
- $14M for "social cohesion" in Mali
- $2.5M for "inclusive democracies in Southern Africa"
- $47M for "improving learning outcomes in Asia"
- $2M to develop "sustainable recycling models" to "increase socio-economic cohesion among marginalized communities of Kosovo Roma, Ashkali, and Egypt"

Hard to know since you’ve given one line explanations of every item. It’s so hard to connect the Jesus part with the rest of the party’s agenda. Amazing you guys still vote together.

What does this mean?

It means the education funding you’re in favor of slashing isn’t going to improve reading comprehension in the south east.
That’s a bizarre response. I asked if this was wasteful. Your response is some convoluted statement of Jesus, republicans and education in the SE. It should be very clear why your side lost.

And just so you know. The funding of education has severely let down all Americans. As noted we spend the most and have the worst education system in the free world.

I voted libertarian this time. They lose every time.

And just so you know. I’m well aware of republicans talking points. Every single one of you geniuses has the same take on everything. While I agree it’s not working how about we fix it rather than just end it? You know, serve the people it’s meant for.

And just so you know ‘and just so you know’ isn’t a sentence. It didn’t need a period at the end. I did it to mock you. I think it’s funny you can’t use English while telling me how overfunded the education system is.

Speaking of education, where’d you go to school? Your reading comprehension, or lack there of, would suggest you were a victim of the DOE.
Uh… Clemson? Shocker! I bet you couldn’t have guessed that.

And LOL, I wouldn’t ever work for the government.

Is trump riding his limo around Daytona a waste?

None of this crap matters - none of it. This is all window dressing so you'll cheer when they screw us over to fund their super-yachts. They have to wipe out the government that non-billionaires rely on to make billionaires trillionaires and you're running around talking about a grain of sand. You are not the good guys.

Democrats introduced 32 amendments to the Republican budget that would have:

—Rejected extreme cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, and programs that Americans rely on
—Kept billionaires and big corporations from getting $4.5 trillion in tax breaks
—Protect the Affordable Care Act from Republican attempts to weaken and repeal it
—Stopped Republicans from rolling back legislation to lower prescription drug prices for American families
—Ensure kids, seniors, Americans with disabilities, and those in need can continue receiving care and food assistance
—Kept Elon Musk from accessing your private data

Republicans rejected every single one.

To me, your hate of billionaires is irrational.

You could tax billionaires 100% and it wouldn’t put a dent in the problem.

On the flip side, their creativity and drive, makes life better for billions of people (with a “B”)

I just don’t get it. I never heard of you complain about Soros. Or Zuckerberg. Or Gates.

Is it really billionaires you are mad at? Why weren’t you mad at billionaires when you were in power?

What do you not understand about 4.5 TRILLION DOLLARS when he have a 36 trillion dollar deficit already? You want to reduce my benefits for their benefit? Dude, you should be taking to the streets demanding that this bill doesn't pass.

So you think if your benefits are cut that is going to Elon Musks pocket? (None of your benefits have been cut)

What are you trying to say here dpic

You can't be that blind can you? Where is the room going to come from to fund those tax cuts?

"The budget calls for up to $4.5 trillion in new deficits through tax cuts, which Republicans plan to use to extend Trump’s expiring 2017 tax law and pass other pieces of his tax agenda.

It calls for $1.5 trillion in spending cuts, with an additional caveat: The House package has to include $2 trillion in cuts to the “mandatory” part of federal spending, which covers programs like Medicare, Medicaid and food benefits known as SNAP, or $4.5 trillion amount in tax breaks must be reduced by a commensurate amount."
