It’s a BEAUTIFUL MORNING this morning...

Agreed. Small, insignificant steps like beating The Citadel like every other coach really sets the course for greatness.

Weren’t there 2 games last night - one was lost, one won?

Either way, I hope fans on both sides can now start to calm down a little bit.

Good to see the football team doing well and it’s unfortunate to see our lesser program struggle. Doubt we see much progress over the next two years unless we can get a signature victory on the court.

It will be interesting to see how trump “works with” the House.

It will be interesting to see what Pelosi and the Dems in the House do.

I bet Trump has some agenda items that are in line with the Dems that we havent seen yet.

I honestly dont have any idea what is about to happen.

One side will b*tch and moan for 2 years until they lose again and watch the head man on the other team rehired with a new 4 year deal.

More Russia, Russia, Russia... I didn't know that they competed in the ACC. Go Tigers.

Excited about deadlock and a season full of overtime? Thank goodness we still have the right President.
So you’re fine with a racist, homophobic person in the WH?
A man and party that screwed middle class americans with a tax bill that only helped his rich friends?
A party that puts a possible sexual predator on the SC...screw what his accuser says, she’s just a woman so it’s OK to grab her p###y?

I just feel sorry for you.

8.5/10.

Just curious. Which party are you referring to. I get confused with all the scandals.

Trump will have to move to the middle left some to work with the dems, while they are actively investigating him for impeachment. It is exactly what Clinton had to do (except to the right). Clinton was impeached in the house and not in the democrat controlled senate. The same thing could happen here.

The big questions for trump are:

will his fanatic base tolerate any movement on his part to the middle?

Clinton was impeached for lying about getting a blowjob. If trump gets caught for doing something worse, will the republican senate vote not to impeach?

You just confirmed my assertion. Some people have NO IDEA what just happened!
Hahahahahahaha!!

I like to see the two sides agree on something. Anything.

My preference would be rebuilding our infrastructure.

best so far!

It’s going to be interesting to watch. Maybe the first two years was just phase 1 of the art of the deal?

Rational immigration reform was a position held by Clinton and even Obama when he first ran for office. It’s only the newer, extreme parts of the Democrat party that are open border loons. There’s middle ground with reasonable republicans and Clinton (Bill) Democrats.

And there’s also room in the middle to improve Obamacare and make positive changes to healthcare.

Trump might seem like he’s swinging hard to the middle when it’s where he, a former democrat, has wanted to go the entire time.

Or, impeachment, no progress and the gov’t failing it’s people.

Which Democrats what open borders? I think you are regurgitating a common trump falsehood. The idea of a wall is just stupid and will be very ineffective. Just b/c someone opposes wasting billions on a wall that will not solve the problem does not mean that they are for “open borders”.

So you're fine spouting all these falsehoods and being this uninformed?

I feel sorry for you but there are a lot of people like you out there. Bless your heart.

You go first. I'm too busy for all that typing right now...but it's coming!

Come on big guy... intelligent people don’t follow QANON so we rely on you to tell us what they are saying. Have they cracked the Democrats child sex slavery ring yet? Yea, yea I know. All this will come out “soon”.

Ok. An abbreviated version.
What has Trump spent the better part of the last 6 weeks doing? Campaigning for key Senate Repubs. If you can't see that, then you're blind. How many Senate Dems, who were up for re-election and voted against Kavanaugh got re-elected? Zero, Nada, Zilch. Keep in mind, he also got rid of the 2 biggest GOP, Never Trumpers in Jeff Flake and Bob Corker in the process; while replacing them with his people. Why is this important? How many Trump appointments in the State Dept, judgeships, and other agancies, etc have yet to be confirmed by the Senate? An unprecedented number. How many Rhino repubs retired and did not seek re=election in the House? An unprecedented number. All but Goodlatte and Gowdy are meaningless to Trump. Watch what happens with Goodlatte and Gowdy now that the Senate confirmation process has been solidified. Both of these guys have seen all the un-redacted DOJ/FBI docs while serving in their respective committee chairs.
If you think the dems are celebrating the results from yesterday, look at what people like Van Jones and others are saying. Blue Wave?
With the likes of Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Adam Schiff and others running the House, Trump's re-election is in the bag in 2020. They will do nothing but investigate and obfuscate for 2 solid years. I'm literally praying that they try to impeach, but that's probably not going to happen.

I actually agree with everything you said except for the last paragraph, where you took a huge leap with no real evidence. A couple of points...

Trump campaigned for the senate candidates in states that he easily won. We know donny does not like to lose, so he only focused on the areas where he was more likely to "win".

A "blue wave" would have been the dems taking control of the senate and the house, that did not happen.

57% of americans who voted for senators voted democratic (and crazily, the dems still lost senate seats). Trump's disapproval rating is at 52%. Those are bad signs for Trump in 2020. Add to that the likelihood of another recession before 2020 and our crippling deficit created by Trump, things are not looking good for him.

I don't know if I would characterize it as "He got rid of them" seeing as they both retired.

Well, they retired because of him. Just like 40 or so Rino congressmen. Heck, Paul Ryan basically said so when he retired. Said he didn't want to be around when the dems took the house. Said it last year. Wonder how many would have won re-election had they stayed? They weren't on board with Trump from the beginning. Good riddance, imo.

You mean like the giant leap you took in your last paragraph?
What's your point about Trump not liking to lose? Do you? Does anyone?
I'll have more time later this evening. I have more.
