Snowflakes being triggered by a meaningless person's tweet. I didn't even know she tweeted any of that. Those statements are most likely for people that "follow" her and most likely already agree with her. Those that don't agree with her nor follow her, who therefore she wasn't talking to, are somehow triggered to the point where ESPN has to apologize. Snowflakes.
Hardly triggered. Just thought it was interesting that in todays climate where words apparently have more power than weapons, that she would say that. It's a free country and she certainly has the right to say what she feels.
Curt Schilling agrees with you.
Yeah that was my thought as well. Probably not a good idea to alienate half of your customersTriggered? Snowflakes? A "prominent" media personality simply cannot post stuff like that. It's unprofessional and will negatively impact their employer.
Has nothing to do with triggering snowflakes

@TigerLion06 is a Black Lives Matter fanatic, so keep that in mind. He only shows up to pump hate.Yeah. I'm on record saying 90% of the country are a bunch of snowflakes that accuse the other side of what they believe to be snowflakes. Comedy.

Had EVERYTHING to do with triggering snowflakes. Same when the other side says something and liberals are triggered and complain. Everything is about the triggering of the other side and then comes the apology.
Slight difference is this was on Twitter. Not on TV. The only half she is speaking to on Twitter is the ones that "follow" her. I had no idea she said any of of this.
@Chefkdh - agree. I find it odd that her Employer (ESPN) has to apologize for her actions. Why not the Broadcaster (who sucks btw at her job) have to do the same, if she hasn't?Triggered? Snowflakes? I saw the tweets, don't care about them but do find it funny that Schilling was fired for tweeting a statement not supporting shared bathrooms. However I don't follow Jemele Hill but I did see the tweet because some of the college football media members I follow re-tweeted them and they appeared in my timeline. You don't just see the tweets of the people you follow
Suck a dildo bitch.Hey dumbass I hate the BLM organization. That group hasn't helped at all. If you were smart enough my message is for both sides to stop being so triggered. You gotta be smart enough to get it tho. Not sure how you came to that conclusion. I'm usually the guy having to explain why I don't support that group. You failed miserably dumbass.
I get that. My point is saying it on Twitter is different from alienating half your fan base. Saying on TV can most certainly be viewed that way. Not saying you won't find out. I found pout on here. I thought Schilling triggered folks. People need to chill out. There is a line I agree but it's way too easy these days.

Calls people dumbasses and snowflakes then proceeds telll everyone to chill?
Interesting strategy, well played!!
Curt Schilling was fired for what he had posted on social media.

Tweeting about bathrooms is a little different than suggesting the president and all the people that voted for him are white supremacists. It's just odd that the latter gets a slap on the wrist while the former gets someone fired. But tell us again how ESPN doesn't have an agenda.Yes. After he triggered a bunch of folks ESPN felt the need to respond with a hammer. Just stupid. The logic in my posts defend him as well.

So Linda Cohn was just suspended by ESPN for saying publicly that their poor ratings were due to being too political, and nothing happens to Jemele Hill other than a public reprimand that she shouldn't say those things.
Got it.
And they are all free to say whatever they want. And their employers are free to fire them. First amendment protects them from their government, not their employer. Shilling was stupid to say what he did when he works for a hard left leaning organization. Hill probably knows that while getting reprimanded in public, she's having many in her company agree with her.I agree. Both should be able to say what they believe. People vote differently in this country. Hell we have a communist party, socialist party, etc that freely operate in this country. Many people would disagree with what they have to say on their personal facebook/Twitter accounts. Allow them to have different opinions. This country is all about that. People get offended a little too easily. There is a line I'm sure, but some of these examples go too far. I don't think Schilling should've been fired. Maybe ESPN feels like she took a shot at her employer. Maybe that was personal. Political rants that are general should be allowed. Not get fired. My opinion.
The people at the top of the ESPN food chain are obviously not people of character. That's probably one of the reason's they're struggling.I didn't know that Linda Cohn got suspended. That's too bad. Back when I watched ESPN regularly, she was my favorite on there. Like her accent and delivery.
