Joe I tip my hat to you

Now turn on full supply side economics on oil and carbon industries

Build the wall

Lower regulations

Stop with the worry about former President Trump and concentrate on future

Overfund the police and military

Let’s go Brandon

What’s this in reference too?
As to what he’s doing it’s clear he’s doing his best to destroy this country. Well anyway his handlers are. They’re trying to raise taxes in a recession! Even the leftist media is scratching their heads on that one.
So corporations will invest less, hire less, grow less, create less new jobs and pass off the tax hike to the poor already beaten down working class consumers.
Truly an evil regime in DC.

Overfund the police and military?

are we not already there? local PDs have SWAT team vehicles and they usually just stand around and look at punisher pics on their phones when there is real work to do. our military is out spending the next 20 countries combined. how is 'Overfund the police and military' not already the case?

serious question, are the guys in this picture fighting the taliban?

Sure seem to be getting killed at an alarming rate.......

59 people per year is an alarming rate?
covid was the leading cause of death among LEOs in 2021 at 301, which is a 65% increase over the previous year. is that also an alarming rate?

You're comparing murder to Covid? Are you wearing a mask right now?

not at all - i'm mid 30s and in excellent shape and health. i'm just trying to gauge what causes of death you consider alarming.

So the average percentage of police officers being violently killed at the hands of criminals goes up substantially and your response is "well, it doesn't seem that high" .........

This conversation is truly what's alarming.

do i think it's unfortunate that 25 more police officers died in 2021 than they did in 2020? yes that sucks and i feel for the affected families. then i look at actual hard data that shows that we're actually at record lows for violent crime and i start to realize it's manufactured outrage by the media. i'm far from an expert at reading statistical trends in violent behavior so i have no idea what could've caused the massive increase since 2019 in deaths of officers.

You sound super sympathetic. You think this is media driven? Have you been to NYC lately? Hardly record lows per NYC's mayor who is about as blue as they come.

Just remember that we burned down half the country over outrage regarding deaths of POC at the hands of police officers and those "hard data sets" actually showed that those numbers were drastically decreased also but yet.....social justice, am I right?

am i shocked that a former NYPD Captain turned Mayor is fearmongering about violence in NYC? no, not in the slightest. look at the data below - it's 100% media driven.

Dude, it isn't. Crime is up in all major metro areas and it's on the rise in the burbs. Car thefts for my county are at an all time high as an example.

The largest asset manager on the planet is leaving Chicago as a result of insanely high crime rates, the CFO was robbed at gunpoint in front of their offices at 10AM in the morning.

But just like CRT in schools, it's all media.

the data doesn't necessarily support these claims, tbqh especially wrt NYC. now if you want to shift the goalposts to all major metropolitan areas, then that's fine.

Out of curiosity, what do you think of this bill in IL? 2nd degree murder for example no longer requires bail to be released........what could go wrong?

Even the libs in Illinois are disliking this law. Oh well, they can live with what they voted for. Screw em

i don't agree with it. i do think getting rid of cash bail is important when dealing with non-violent crimes, but not a blanket removal of it. kidnapping, assault, rape, etc shouldn't be affected by this - and it just feels like an example of lawmakers going too far in an attempt to appeal to voters
