I can't remember the last time I heard that a player was academically ineligible. Either the current generation of "student-athletes" is much more studious than prior generations, or no one bothers to look anymore. Here is an interesting hypothetical - can you imagine anyone at Michigan ever declaring the new store bought QB for 10M academically ineligible even if he never attends a single class. I can't.
