In tonight’s game, Greg Olsen had a great quote in talking with Shanahan where the Niners have ran into more heavy boxes than any team in the league. Shanahan told him that most teams will check out of a run when a team has a heavy box, but he will stick with a run as he wants his team to be comfortable running against a heavy box as come playoffs he’s not gonna allow the defense to dictate his playcalling. He’s gonna set the terms of engagement, not the other way around.
