My youth was spent boating on Hartwell in the 60s. I remember that we were supposed to keep to the right side of the channel going up or down stream.
For the last 10 years I have been active on Lake Greenwood. Nobody follows that rule at all. Chaos sometimes. Is it because Hartwell is a Corps lake? Or is there just a problem in Laurens and Greenwood counties?
