Life Alert Systems

Due to a recent incident, my Mom is wanting to get a "Life Alert" type system. Her Dr. and our local pharmacy wasn't interested in recommending anything. I've done some research and found NUMEROUS systems with pros and cons for each. Anyone have good experiences, possibly recommend something?
