Life long Republican here, my ballot has been completed for over a week minus the most important race...it has been sitting on the counter in the kitchen, I look at it 2-3 times a day but can't bring myself to fill in that last bubble. I have never voted for anyone other than a Republican, including Trump the last two times. I don't think I can do it a third...I can't get past the horror of January 6th. There is zero doubt in my mind that everything he said and did that day and the days leading up to it, were thought out and calculated on his part. Additionally, it has been unprecedented the number of individuals in his first administration, some incredibly close to him who have spoken out against him. I don't believe their warnings should be completely ignored. I don't feel he respects the rule of law and has said too many things that leave little doubt he truly feels he is above the law. How can I in good conscience vote for this individual?

Just to be clear, there is ZERO chance I vote for Harris.

I am leaning towards a write-in decision, I am fully aware of that for all intents and purposes this is essentially like not voting. It makes me feel sick.

For what it's worth, whether you vote for Trump or Harris, I am thankful WE have the right to do so.

Just curious, is anyone else this conflicted?

Life long Republican as well … I’ll vote n Election Day.

I’ll be writing in a candidate.

This would be the first election I would sit out if it weren’t for the Maryland Senate race which I’m passionate about. Angela Alsobrooks is such a pathetic liar ….. her campaign almost had me considering voting Trump because of the blatant lies her campaign has been putting out about Larry Hogan.

not sure what there is to be conflicted about honestly.
  • rapist
  • whoremonger
  • thief
  • cheat
  • adulterer
  • heretic
  • dotard
  • facepainter
  • felon
  • fraudster
  • national security threat
  • wannabe fascist
  • octogenarian
  • Putin stooge

I would vote for Cryin Shane if he was running against that type of person. And Trump is already laying the groundwork for another J6 incident and more thorough attack on our free and fair election. He and his cronies like MTG are already blasting it across their accounts. His reaction to places like PA actually has me more confident in a loss now. There are rumors that he has been told internally that he will not win PA/WI/MI and other states are in jeopardy, which is why he pulled out of the Penn State/Ohio State game and has started accusing people of election fraud in PA.

Rumors

There are rumors that Kamala polled under 2% in the 2020 primary.

I don't know how many of you maga idiots signed up for this stupid ban bet, but I'm counting on every one of you to be true to your character and welch.

I want y'all around for the aftermath of this beat down. I want to make fun of you all, a lot. And boy am I going to.

I think he’s goofy as a person and would personally prefer someone more prayerful but his 4 years in office were pretty solid.

Trump wanted to be Hitler during his first term and not leave office but he kinda got distracted and forgot and he left anyway. However during a second term he's going to remember to become hitler, appoint himself dictator with the support of his entire administration, congress, DOJ, SCOTUS, and the entire US department of Defense and throw all the jews, blacks and hispanics into concentration camps.? Yeah, no. Not going to happen. I sincerely don' t understand the write in vote thing. There is no third choice that matters. . You're not voting to make either one of them your personal role model. Its who will do a better job as chief executive going forward and most importantly which platform do you think will be better overall for the country going forward. Choose one.

I would have had the same crisis if it were still Joe. I don't think I could have voted for him, but of course, I'm certainly not voting for trump.

RCV! RCV! RCV!

We deserve more choices and to not have to choose the lesser of two evils!

The Republicans held a primary.

The Democrats did not.

The Republicans had choices, the Democrats did not.

Democrats should be punished for their dishonesty and denying votes to millions. Democrat voters do not have a say in the direction of the party and they must be held accountable.

The important question is what state do you live in?
