I've had plenty of meaningful and good discourse with people I have different political views from on here. I just think that engaging with you, augtig, fastball, tigerragrob, and a few others is a waste of time. I value the opinions of plenty of non-likeminded posters here, because they've shown an ability to discuss topics with expertise and intelligence.
@ANEW is a great example - I don't really agree with many of his stances, but he's clearly intelligent and argues his point with supporting evidence and expertise. I've learned a good bit reading his conversations and discussions with other posters on here.
