This seems like a typical CNN article... long on speculation and short on facts. But I've NO PROBLEM with kicking out folks that break the law. It puzzles me how folks use the "The other side did it, so it must be OK" excuse. When two people break the law BOTH need to be punished, not one person excused b/c the other person didn't get charged.

The point is the others weren’t prosecuted for it …..that’s it …..that’s the only point, not that it’s ok. It’s that one side seems to be able to avoid the justice system and one side doesn’t.

When one doesn’t get charged you lose the moral authority to make it a chargeable offense to someone else. I don’t have a problem holding people accountable. Don’t hold only some people accountable and let others slide by.

Unequal application of the law is no different than not having laws but a free for all.

What does this have to do with only Nancy? I’m not a fan but represent the article fairly on what it exactly is……

A taxpayer funded slush fund hosted by the US Treasury that has paid out 17m+ from 1997-2017 for 268 cases of some agreed to form of harassment. That averages $63,500 per payment against Republicans and Democrats alike.

What’s truly disgusting is that the House Majority/Minority leaders who approve these payments DO NOT see who they are approving the payments for. That is the crime.

Talk about an investigation that needs MASSIVE #METOO.

(Interesting….. they passed a bill Dec 2018 putting the responsibility on the representative and no longer the taxpayer.)
