trump tried hard, but just like his steaks, airlines, university, and many of his former hotels and casinos it just didn't work out for him.

While I do think that Trump had to wipe the semen off his chin every time he talked to Putin, I don't hate his foreign policy in general.

We don't belong in the middle east from a military perspective. We are the world's largest producer of oil now and we don't need them like we used to. Follow a reasonable plan to move away from fossil fuels over time and we can let them destroy each other to their heart's content. Trump also did more than anyone except Carter for middle east peace. And yes, I'm aware that he basically paid the countries in question to make peace with Israel... I still say it's impressive.

He's handled China and N. Korea better than anyone since maybe Nixon. Hopefully Biden will take note and continue along these lines. Trump is all about chaos. And that works VERY well against your enemies.

Less so with your friends. We've really hurt our NATO alliance and hopefully Biden can rebuild this.

His progress in the middle east was impressive. I disagree on:

N. Korea: he legitimized shorty by meeting with him with no pre-qualifications. They are closer to a nuke now than they were before. (I also think we are going to find out that Putin was pulling the strings of this now that we will have access to trump and putin's calls)

China. Pretty sure the trade gap with China got worse during trump's tenure, despite his "easy to win" trade war that we paid for.
