what if any guardrails are in place to limit/stop a school from going above and beyond the 20 million or so to effectively continue the status quo. Even with the lawsuit settlement, it seems the courts are hard pressed to put any limit on an individuals ability to earn money. even with revenue sharing, could a booster not just supplement what a school is willing to give in order to get a recruit, keep a player. I feel like the NIL portion could still be used nefariously that way. Am i wrong?
