San Diego is a Democratic run city ya chucklefvck

It was ran by pubs for awhile and they have a lot of influence there unlike most cities.
Kevin Lee Faulconer (born January 24, 1967) is an American politician who served as the 36th mayor of San Diego, California from 2014 to 2020. A member of the Republican Party, Faulconer served as the member of the San Diego City Council for the 2nd district from 2006 to 2014. San Jose, California, U.S.

You mean the reality that ALL large cities have high crime rates? Even ones with Republican administrations?
Shocker!

high relative to what? any analysis of leadership by party would have an insignificant number of instances and periods to draw any republican conclusions, at least in the last 50-75 years. dem run cities make up all of the highest crime cities, all of the worst school systems, the largest homeless populations and rampant drug use, the most sht per sidewalk sq ft etc. it goes far beyond crime, that was simply the subject mentioned.

Yes, lets please limit this discussion to 4 cities in the whole country, that should give you an accurate representation, lol. However, if you are going to use four cities, you should probably use the four most similar in population. Both columbus, oh and charlotte, nc are closer in population to fort worth than san jose and austin. They both also have higher violent crime rates. I wonder why you did not choose the most similar in population, hmmm?

Conclusion: If you look at any list of the highest crime areas in (pick any state or the whole country), the majority of them will be dem run - and likely will have been that way for a long time.

Not even top 10, but carry on... Note that 6/10 are in Red States... What's up with that?

To determine which cities in the United States the most dangerous, 24/7 Wall Street looked at data from the FBI’s 2022 Uniform Crime Report, including each city’s murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault. Only cities with populations of 100,000 people or more were evaluated. The poverty rate and unemployment rate were also evaluated for each city, as these economic factors often correlate with crime rates. The 50 most dangerous cities in the United States were determined from this data.

Based on this information, the ten most dangerous cities in the United States are:

  1. Detroit, MI
  2. Memphis, TN
  3. Birmingham, AL
  4. Baltimore, MD
  5. St. Louis, MO
  6. Kansas City, MO
  7. Cleveland, OH
  8. Little Rock, AR
  9. Milwaukee, WI
  10. Stockton, CA
Not enough thought put in here. What party controls these cities? I would put money that at least 6 of the 10 are run by democrats and probably more.

9 of 10 are run by Democrats and most have been run by Democrats for decades. Only Stockton CA elected a Republican and he just won in 2021 after decades of Democrat mayors.

After over 3000 reported shooting and over 700 murders. Chicago goes even further left with a defund the police communist.

When Chicago, NY, and LA are excluded from this list, I'm sure there are variables considered that are not mentioned in your rebuttal.

When Chicago, NY, and LA are excluded from this list, I'm sure there are variables considered that are not mentioned in your rebuttal.
Not my rebuttal... Simply a quick google search of the most dangerous cities in America. This one is per capita (per 100,000 people). It includes FBI’s 2022 Uniform Crime Report, including each city’s murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault stats. That's seems an OK stick to measure with but I hear you. Maybe those things aren't what make a city dangerous. But to be fair, OP mentioned "kill , rob , rape , pillage , commit as many violent hate crimes as possible". Which seems to be covered in the above measuring metrics.

Show me something different, instead of a "well if it doesn't include the biggest cities, it can't be right" argument. You have an opinion, and that's totally fair. How did you form this opinion? What numbers are you looking at that are different than mine? How have others (preferrably experts) measured this metric? What are those criteria? Do you have a list of most dangerous cities with NY, Chicago, and LA in them? Show us what you have that formed your opinion.

And I'm sincere in this. I'd heard that crime was actually way higher in some "medium sized" cities than it was in the biggest ones, and did some quick checking. BUT It wasn't an exhaustive search by any means. Just a few articles from the press and then I actually looked up the primary source (in this case the FBI Uniform Crime Report), to make sure that the articles matched the reporting. But that's it. You can totally change my mind.

Wrong again

If you average the population of Fort Worth and Jacksonville, it comes to = 956,796
If you average the populations of San Jose and Austin, it comes to = 1,000,626 (difference of 43,830)
if you average the populations of Charlotte and Columbus, it comes to = 912,664 (difference of 44,132)

I was trying to make it more fair by comparing Ft. Worth and Jacksonville to larger Dem run cities but if you go down the list and compare Jacksonville to Charlotte, the difference is negligible

The only city that favors your argument is Columbus OH, but that's a really red state, so not sure that's something to crow about either.

My argument stands

No. It was merely my informed opinion, and I don't want to hunt articles and statistics to back up an opinion that you know you will never hold, regardless of any information I present. Exchanging political opinions is fun to an extent, but its an exercise in futility to think I can change the perspective of people who are so polarized from the traditional, conservative views of how America was founded and still should be.
