I never thought I would say this, but Syracuse, BC, and Pitt are all playing some solid football right now. BC went toe to toe with #6 Mizzou, Syracuse is undefeated, and Pitt is undefeated after knocking of WV. Glad to see these schools starting to play some football again. All of them used to be solid programs at one point in the Big East. What is crazy is that Miami is also playing lights out as well and so is Louisville. All of these long time Big East schools are starting to come around after 15-20 years or so in the league. VT had a snafu but was supposed to be better this year and may still be as the season goes on. In addition, CAL is 3-0 and Stanford has played solid football up until this point and are much better than folks thought. They came close to knocking off a big time Big 12 program early in the season. These schools have been using the portal to get better players because they traditionally outside of Miami haven't been able to recruit with the big boys. The portal has allowed them to pick up better players from the Big10 and SEC and it is starting to create more parity in the ACC. This may be a really crazy year for the ACC to see who ends up in the championship game. Right now, it looks like Clemson and Miami, but there are a lot of teams that will have something to say about that.
