If Notre Dame finds itself upset with the current CFP rules that prevent them from being higher than a five seed, I wonder if that incentivizes them any to join a conference? It would have been nice to have competent leadership in the ACC when Swofford completely blew the opportunity to bring them in as a full-time member during the Covid years. That would have really changed the dynamics with the ACC as it pertains to perception and, most importantly, its ability to negotiate for more TV/media revenue. Today, if Notre Dame decided to join a conference, I am confident it would be the B1G.
