My best friend is FSU alum but he is objective and harsh grader of his team most of the time.
His concerns about the team
1)Many of the new players came from programs that were not winning programs, afraid bad habits will creep in.
2)Leadership on defense is not what it should be and he expects defense to cost them games
3) Travis is more injured than let on and he didn't like the parsing of Norvell's statement of his condition in the PC. Concerned he won't run which is what makes him a special threat.
His concerns about Clemson
1) Doesn't like the Vibe of the locker room right now, said Norvell was too focused on what happened at BC after the game and into the first practice Sunday.
2) He feels it being at DV is more like a 10 point advantage right now in the season.
3) Expressed concern that there is a huge disparity between receivers Keon/Wilson and every one else.
His take on the game was a lower scoring game then anyone else predicts(think under 30). He thinks when they are on offense it will come down to our LBs vs their pass catching Rb's and their Te's. He said when FSU is on defense he expects bend but don't break strategy. Keep everything in front of them and force us to execute and given our kicking struggles he feels it is the right plan. He thinks FSU is the better team 1-22 on the depth chart but has regressed since Game 1. He actually expects to lose by 1-3 points.
He then stated that as long as they don't let a loss beat them again they will meet us in the ACCCG and smoke us by 2 Td's.
