depending on the topic i usually get some good advice from the board....
i am looking at a 10 acre parcel of land near laurens.
the realtor has it listed at $210000---which i think is pretty high. here are the main characteristics:
--accessed by a 1000 foot (20 feet wide) rut-filled easement
--240 foot creek-front (shallow) on back of property thru 8 acres of trees
--a non-working well
--the kicker....there was an old double-wide trailer that has been vacant for 5 years that vagrants have lived in, cooked meth and recently burned down (the realtor didn't know the last part until we visited the property today)
i asked him if he was willing to pay me $40000 to take it (LOL)
he said he is going to talk to the out-of-state owner to revise the price for clean up.
long story short---how much do you think it would cost me to demo and haul off the burned out trailer (and separate wooden barn and trash piles)? and---who could i call to do that?
this is not my area of expertise
