I normally don't get involved in these things (in fact I actively beg Cris to get rid of these political threads on a football board) but this is just stupid. Why is the President of the United States responsible for Belgium? Particularly when we live in a day and age where through technology the President can easily communicate with Belgium anytime or anywhere to lend support, and can also communicate easily with whoever he needs to in the United States to make sure everything is safe there, and of course security was beefed up at major landmarks/airports etc today despite there being no specific threat to the United States.
Secondly, I tend to agree that the President would probably much preferred to normalize relations with Cuba after Castro (and his brother) were dead, but it didn't happen that way. That's probably why he waited so late in his Presidency to do what he's doing in Cuba now, hoping they would kick the bucket first. BUT, Cuba has made changes in opening up their economy to capitalism and in allowing more civil rights for its people.
Obama ending the embargo is a good thing because there are a ton of economic opportunities in Cuba for Americans. There are already American entrepreneurs in Cuba setting up shop, including a tractor company from Alabama that will be selling updating farming equipment for the locals. When you consider that much of Cuba still exists in the 1950s and 60s, there's a lot of opportunity for modernizing the Cuban economy which American companies can be involved with. On top of that Cuba is now allowing it's citizens to protest and speak openly about the government, which hasn't happened for decades.
So yes, he's a communist dictator (really his brother was) but they have taken a lot of steps which make it much more plausible for normal relations with the United States that can be beneficial for both countries.
