On the ground in PA

Had dinner next to Kamala’s hotel tonight (Omni William Penn in downtown Pittsburgh). She’s here prepping for the debate in Philly. Not sure why, and the locals seem annoyed. Dinner was at Ritual House and was pretty good.

Spending the day downtown in meetings and hallway chats. Would never bring up politics at client functions, but will see what vibe I get. Dinner crowd mostly rolled their eyes when Kamala was briefly mentioned as staying next door.

Uber driver was bitching about “foreigners” gaming the system to falsify surge pricing. Followed it up with some good hunting discussion. Fun guy. I think I know which way he’s voting.

I’ll be in Philly on 9/30 and can continue my boots on the ground swing state coverage.
