The POTUS has proven what a petty, small, petulant person he is in his reaction to John McCain's death. Lowering the flag for only 1/2 a day, not releasing a formal White House statement, refusing to mention his name when pressed by reporters. Finally after appeals by numerous staffers and organizations he reverses himself. One name Trump will never be called: "TRUE AMERICAN WAR HERO". The stupid, yes stupid SOB doesn't realize he is only diminishing himself while elevating McCain. Just like taking an unprovoked pot shot at McCain during the runnup to the election. The POTUS can't count. He didn't realize he only had 50 votes in the US Senate. So when McCain had the chance to return the favor, he did a thumbs down at 2:00 a.m. on the vote to end the Affordable Care Act. The thumbs down act was in fact a middle finger up to this despicable man who temporarily occupies the White House.

Dude, you have no idea about these Trumpians. Trump is the Greatest American Hero. He's already gotten NK to give up nuclear weapons and they are no longer a threat tot the US. He should have gotten a nobel peace prize before even going to that summit. And McCain is no hero... Trump said that himself and all the Trumpians agree.... Trump's the real hero for saying that he likes people that weren't captured. Can you imagine the fallout on this board if Hillary or Obama said that about McCain? But it's OK b/c it's Trump saying it. And the economy is good so it's OK to shiit on heroes.

Seriously, though, I actually don't have a problem with what Trump did. The two men hated each other and pretending otherwise is silly (even though that's what decent people DO... you just say something like we disagreed but I respected him for ... insert banality here... then move on). Trump is just being Trump. Not one of his supporters gives a crap what he says or does as long as THEY are doing fine.
