Not at all. Just acknowledging that, while she is a crook, she did a good bit for her constituents. Our recently retired Congressman, Ander Crenshaw, didn't do a thing for 15 years. He won re election running strictly on his seniority. His daily routine consisted of golf.

I get it Jag, and I was mostly just yanking your chain. That said, however, it is incomprehensible to me that the citizens continue electing her. We had our own Corrine Brown in Atlanta for years. Cynthia McKinney was a retard of the highest order, yet she kept her job forever. She was entertaining, but largely useless.

Yeah, McKinney was a piece of work. Both did/do an excellent job of tricking their constituencies into thinking "well, they may be corrupt, but they are good for our community and care about me."

Seems many of you are pointing your fingers at African-American politicians and suggesting they are the only incompetent ones. For the record, look up the stellar careers of Rep. Jim Traficant, D-Ohio, or Rep. Michael "Ozzie" Myers, D-Pa. It will open your eyes.

One of my friends worked for a congressman from the Harrisburg, Pa. area. He was asked by the Congressman to go to an electronics store in Philadelphia to buy a TV for the congressional office. My friend said, "but Congressman, I can go right down the street and buy that same TV and have it in the office today." "No," said the congressman, "I want you to go to Philadelphia. That way I will be able to watch Philadelphia TV stations when I turn it on here in Washington."

He was a white Congressman by the way.

That indictment is nasty. Really shady stuff in there. It is my understanding that she has never been liked all that much in the democratic caucus either. She makes like close to $200K as a legislator. Is that not enough????
