To all our leftist friends I have one question to ask? And please don’t answer it with another question. Actually answer the question.
If Trump were not running for President, and just so happens to be leading in the polls, would this indictment have happened???
I am confident the answer is no. Which means the ONLY reason it happened is politically motivated.
Which should be extremely disturbing to everyone!

I don't deal in hypotheticals because they're pointless and you can't confirm a "feeling."

Do I think he committed a crime? Yes, and I'm glad something is happening because it's important for people to see that no one is above the law. Do I think all the pageantry is a bit excessive? Also yes.

Unknown for sure. People have been trying to get Trump for years... WAY before he became a political figure. For example, he's pretty famous for hiring contractors to do work for him, then refusing to pay and saying the work was bad. Then he basically lawyers them to death by delaying any proceedings until the folks in question have to give up.

But politically motivated? I think so. That's a standard roadmap to a political future... a prosecutor that goes after the people that other folks couldn't get. It happens ALL THE TIME. If he convicts Trump for this, I wouldn't be surprised to see him in congress or the governor's office in a couple of years. So yeah, I think its political for sure. After all, the guy got elected for bragging that he was going after Trump. I'm guessing that he'll call it a promise kept.

The good thing is that prosecutors don't get to just find people guilty... political things aside. They have to bring charges before a grand jury (which to be fair, is NOT a hard thing to do). THEN he has to prove to a jury that these charges are real beyond a shadow of a doubt. And that is VERY hard to do.

I don't find it particularly disturbing b/c I don't really pay much attention to it. Trump is charged with a crime... So what? He had to show up at court and then leave again. No bail to make, no cuffs, didn't have to agree to restrict travel. He has to go to trial and THEN we find out if this is a big deal or not. Until then, I don't think ONE person has changed their minds on Trump.

If he wasn’t leading in the polls and wasn’t running it would not have happened I don’t believe but it will wait for the facts to come out too. It’s really too early to tell on both fronts, but at first glance it certainly looks “Trumped up”

Not sure if it would have been brought or not but it should be brought either way because they are serious crimes that his lawyer had to pay for - why shouldn't he? Not only did he have to serve time but Trump also threw him on the trash heap and even got him sent BACK to jail after he got out because he was mad he had a book coming out. In other words, the guy he paid to do his dirty bidding had to pay a price and got treated like a dog on top of it. Trump could have pardoned him like he did with all his other shady friends but chose not to.

Why shouldn't Trump pay a price is the real question. I'd say he's gotten a huge pass so far and been treated much better than he deserves. It's a damn travesty that he's even allowed to run again after all the chaos he's caused since the election. I don't have a damn bit of sympathy for the man.

Not worried about what you'll understand

... that payment while writing it off as a “legal” expense, and then sit by and watch the lawyer you instructed to pay the porn star go to prison for that payment, while you sit in the office you won in part by making sure no one knew about your affair with a porn star…? Because if you DID do that shit, yes - you could be next. Otherwise, you’re probably ok."
