In my opinion, because of the unequal revenue sharing and success initiatives, we're going to see more ACC schools take chances on coaches that would not have been considered before.
The middle teams of the ACC, and NCST is a perfect example, are not going to go quietly into the night. They and other schools(Vt, Louisville, BC, GT, Pitt, SMU, etc) realize the gloves are off now, and some(not all) are going to make some questionable moves in order to try and move themselves up the pecking order, earn more revenue dollars, and keep themselves relevant for the next round of restructuring.
It's about to get crazy up in here.
BTW, I'm not suggesting NCST absolutely wouldn't have hired Will Wade before, but the thought did cross my mind.
