Looking for any seasoned commercial lenders or business owners who can give me some career advice. Nothing specific just general tips you wish you had.
I am basically at the front of my career in commercial banking and have a tremendous desire to be great. The downside is I have no experience. My bank created an apprenticeship for me to learn the ropes. I literally went from the teller line to commercial lending in about 18 months. It’s a good independent bank in upstate SC. Before that 7 years with Chick-Fil-a.
So if anyone has anything to offer, I’d appreciate it. Go Tigers!
