Love this one. I know it's not as high priced as others but it's q great value for the money.
Best priced, most versatile bourbon on the market IMO. Neat, rocks, cocktails, it just works

Have you tried their OESK or other recipes? Best bourbon I've ever had that you can actually find. I don't like their small batch at all.Ill never understand the 4roses fixation. I hate it.

All Tennessee whiskey is required to be straight bourbon whiskey by law. The sugar maple coal filtration is unique to most Tennessee whiskeys. When it's all said and done, naming conventions for whiskeys come down to 3 things: ingredients (mash bill), production process, and/or production location. One these factors could be different and you end up with two different names of whiskeys and the same product in the bottle. All bourbon is whiskey. So more like Fujis and Granny Smiths...

I don't think Jack tastes like bourbon and anything that is mixed with coke more than on the rocks or neat doesn't belong in the conversation with the great bourbons!I agree. All bourbon is whiskey.
Try the 23 yr old Pappy...I've got a friend in Louisville that runs in the same social circles with Julian and I've been fortunate to have both the 12 & 23!12 year Pappy is the best. I've never tasted a smoother Bourbon.
After that Blanton's, Elmer t Lee, and Bulleit in that order.

To each is own, however I haven't mixed brown liquor with a soft drink in 30 years and I can't figure out why I ever did! Once you get use to water or ice with Bourbon or Whisky you will not look back...something pure about this version as the people who invented Bourbon and Whisky didn't have soft drinks to contaminate their brew!Never said that and I totally agree. I do like a Jack and Diet on the reg in the winter tho.
12 year Van Winkle is the same recipe as Weller 12. Pappy starts at 15 year.Try the 23 yr old Pappy...I've got a friend in Louisville that runs in the same social circles with Julian and I've been fortunate to have both the 12 & 23!

I think Weller 12 is best of the bunch. I don't think Pappy is all that great just the rarity and legend is good. It does have a good snob factor and is a good special occasion drink ala DomI've never had the 23, but I've had the 20 and it wasn't as good as the 12. Everyone who I've talked to says the 12 and 15 are better than the 20 and 23. I've had them all except the 23.
Just got on the four roses train.
Always love Blantons.
Buffalo trace is a nice enexpensive bourbon.
However I work outside so when it's 100 degrees I get home it's vodka time. Titos is the only vodka I drink.
