I have traditionally been a rifle hunter when it comes to big game, but the draw of bow hunting is getting to me.
Went out in archery season yesterday here in SC with 3 bow hunters (all from the West Coast) and think I caught the bug.
Other than the obvious of going to an archery store to try everything out, etc., any brands and bows you guys like? Main purpose would be east coast hunting (primarily whitetail), but would love to eventually take it out west if possible. I am a newb to archery.
I am a bigger guy at 6'6, so something that would work well for us tall fellers.
