I’m building a house in Seneca and am putting butcherblock countertops on my kitchen island. The catch is the sink is going in the island. I’m planning to use multiple coats of Waterlox (5-6) to seal it but am nervous about ending up with a very expensive mistake when I go to cut the holes for the sink. From what I’ve read, using a router is the way to go for an undermount sink. Anyone ever cut sink holes in a butcher block?
