It doesn't? What about laws requiring that people affirm "transgender" identity? What about schools teaching this gender theory, and ignoring or ostracizing parents who disagree? How about the previous federal administration interpreting Title IX to protect gender identity? What about the apparent social contagion, especially among girls, of identifying as "transgender"?
Apart from all, I doubt you'd be saying you didn't care if the same kinds of crazy things were being said about something other than sex. At any rate, transgender activists are making it impossible for people not to care.

You're reaching and paranoid if you thing that a handful of students engaging in this activity will impact curriculum in South Carolina high schools.
And i don't know what you're implying with the first sentence in your second paragraph - "if the same kinds of crazy things were being said about something other than sex." - like what, specifically ? And about what ?
This is a talk that is not mandated by the school, is not part of the curriculum, and I bet will not be heavily attended. If someone wants to attend, so be it.
Without knowing the answer to this at all, since they didn't get a comment from Clemson - but who is paying for this speaker to come to campus? Could make an argument that it's frivolous spending of student tuition money unless this is a privately funded event.
Well, I consider myself a moderate, which definitely puts me WAY left on this board. And I have to say I give zero shiits about this. If someone wants to go... have at it. I have no idea what happens at something like this and I'm pretty sure that I can live the rest of my life just fine w/o knowing. Am I somehow offended or threatened? Not at all. To the person who's organizing it... "You do you and have a nice day. Wanna talke Clemson football, I'm your guy".

Some people may not view it as frivolous - certainly the university employees who invited the speaker dont think it's frivolous. Regardless, I'm willing to be that there is a ton of "frivolous spending" on college campuses. We'd spend more time debating what is and isn't frivolous than teaching students.
Of course it's weird, I just don't care. If the right didn't lose their friggin minds over shit like this it would never gain momentum. Same as if the left didn't spaz out over things like the 10 commandments being on government property. These are not important issues but for some reason we pretend they are. I don't get it.
I'm reaching? I pointed to specific policy. Where did the ideas that motivated those policies come from? Do South Carolina schools have to follow federal guidelines?
One good example of what I was talking about is when some scientific issue culturally associated with the left is brought up, where somebody makes a fool of themselves by disagreeing with scientific consensus. Take global warming, for example. It doesn't matter at all whether somebody believes in it or not, but people will act like it's some sort of mortal sin to not affirm global warming. And that's actually much less effectual than gender issues, since gender issues touch all of us directly. Of course, policy gets made based on conclusions about climate science, but the issue isn't as directly human and social as gender.

A person giving a talk (optional) to 15 students isn't going to change policy.
It's not that serious - not a reason to get upset
It's in the press, so it affects more than just the 15 students who choose to go.
I just don't get where you're getting the idea that it's the right that's losing their "friggin minds over shit like this." It's almost like you think the activists for transgenderism are on the right.
The framing of these issues has gone something like this:
Progressives and Media: “Gay, gay, gay, gay, trans, gay, gay. Trans. TRANS!”
CONSERVATIVES: “Gay/Trans?”
Progressives and Media: “BIGOTS! Why are you so obsessed with LGBTQIA+?!”
Maybe you should quit accusing the people who notice how crazy this stuff is of being the ones going crazy, then.
I doubt that, since consent is pretty much the only thing they think should limit sexual desire.

It's in something called the daily caller, not somewhere credible. I'd never heard of it. If a random article on the daily caller is your barometer for something worth debating or discussing, then you will spend a lot of time debating and discussing.
The same "press" you cite has the following on their front page , "diamond and silk explain why they're voting republican on November 6th."
