Amy, as far as I'm concerned, you can "litter" the board with whatever you like. You are a great asset to this board, which can be miserable at times. Please continue posting and don't listen to the dumbasses telling you otherwise. Their fabricated outrage makes them sound like you turned them down for a date.
And to the point of your post, any professional (and especially a college professor) who shoots him or herself in the arm in protest of anything at all means that they failed to hit the more appropriate target.
I have responded to her posts many times, in fact with direct thoughtful points. She may not agree, but I have tried repeatedly to engage her. Does she want to discuss her politics or not?
I am not directly talking about this post. I have tried to engage you in many of your posts but when a hard fact comes your way you artfully dodge it. BTW I agree, this guy is a dumbass. Many liberals are dumbasses. But so are some conservatives who have a fear of uttering any semblance of criticism against their savior Trump, even when he repeatedly lies. And many of his lies are just brazen. Taking direct statistics and changing them to suit his needs. Saying he knew nothing of paying off a porn star and then turning around and saying when his lawyer confirms it "Oh it is not against the Law". You support a guy who has repeatedly slept around on his wife and paid a PORN STAR to keep quiet and admits it. Question to you Amy Would you be ok with your husband admitting that he slept around on you with a porn star and paid to keep her quiet (with your money too....what's his is hers, right)? So, talk with me, would YOU be ok with that? And if not, why are you afraid to utter at least one tiny criticism against your savior. I know why you will not. I am certain I know why you will not do it. But, go ahead and surprise me please.
Replace Trump with Obama, and then you're talking about the liberals during Obama's 8 years. Let's not forget that. This isn't something new. It's politics!
I am not saying Obama would be better per se. I am a true libertarian...a middle man and often a maverick. But I have never met a bunch of people (conservatives) so afraid of saying one bad thing about Trump. Not one utterance of negativity. I will tell you the reason why after @amynhop responds (or more likely ignores bc I have not found her to really be willing to discuss things with an open mind). I mean, I am sure you probably know too why these conservatives can never admit the guy has any single solitary fault. To me in the middle it is annoying as all hades. I can't imagine what a true liberal would be thinking about the situation.

I love Trump for his no BS, no PC approach. I've been clamoring for that for a LONG time because that's how I think it should be. He also is delivering on his campaign promises (like them or not). The same can not be said of for what, 90% of politicians? Sure, I wish he would change some of the wording in his tweets from time to time (while still being non PC). I'm not one who ever agrees on cheating on a significant other, but at the same time, I've NEVER found that to be a reason to disqualify someone from public office. I honestly believe that if there were no NDA's and Stormy and Karen had come out and said they had extramarital affairs with Trump prior to election day in 2016, he STILL would've won. He had many accusers and 2 more, where the sex was CONSENSUAL, would've been a nothing burger in the grand scheme of things. He would've just denied it and we'd still be where we are today...Trump as POTUS.
There are things I like about Trump too. For example being tough on China and demanding the Euros pay more for their NATO defense. But his list of negatives are very long as well. For ex. there is something to be said for dignity in office and Bush 2 was essentially elected bc Bill C messed up the office dignity with Lewinsky. Where are we today with dignity in the office? The guy can and should act more Presidential and also be less flip flopping. If he talks to Schumer he suddenly likes the Dems, then he talks to Bannon and is back on the other side. Paying off a porn star never adds dignity to the office.
The reason why @amynhop will NEVER utter a nary word about Trump in public is because she hates liberals more than she loves or believes in Trump. Trump is essentially the proxy for all conservative hate for the other side. It is not what he stands for, it is who he stands against. There are MANY on here like that. I am glad you can at least acknowledge some of his faults.

First of all... I've said before I didn't vote for Trump in the primary; but I should have. I really do like him. He's refreshing from your typical politician. Yes- he says a few things here and there that maybe he shouldn't but lots of the time he says what most of us are thinking anyway. And I love that. Doesn't bother me a bit. He's not worried with all the BS "political correctness ".
I do not condone infidelity but it's not going to keep me from voting for him. I vote for the direction I want this country headed and the person who I agree with their ideas and direction for our country. We all have done things we aren't proud of. I don't think the majority of us would want to be put under a microscope and have our entire life scrutinized. I know I wouldn't. God help us all if that crook Hillary was in office. She belongs in jail. I loathe her.
You are right about one thing. I do despise what liberals stand for with every fiber of my being. Hate the way the stuff their agenda down our throats. Transgender bathrooms, ( puke) taking God and prayer out of schools and everything else possible. ( sickening and sad)Penalizing you with higher taxes because you work hard and are successful. Pushing their gun control agenda.... like it will solve a damn thing, kneeling for the anthem, etc. etc. etc.

This country is thriving....hundreds of American companies bringing jobs to America, unemployment down, Isis defeated and all the liberals care about is wanting desperately for Trump to fail. AT ANY COST. Bunch of freaking dim witted idiots is what they are. The media won't leave Trump alone and it's so sickening. All they did was rally around that other guy who didn't do one good thing in 8 years.
I think Trump is doing a fantastic job and I couldn't be more pleased. He's no saint- he's a sinner like the rest of us but I certainly believe he's a Christian. He genuinely cares about people and this great country of ours.

Couple of points. First of all here is your quote from a previous thread: "That’s what libs do. If you don’t agree with them they attack I freaking hate them MORE AND MORE everyday...." And yet you just stated you don't hate anyone. This is the same thing Trump does ... he denies he ever said something and then is proven wrong with written or video evidence by news media not named FOX NEWS. Then he fights back and calls them Fake News and the enemy of the American people. That is dangerous talk/behavior.
Regarding whining, Trump whines more than any person, let alone POTUS, that I've ever seen. He is a sensitive little child. He is the most unprofessional POTUS that I have ever seen. It's embarrassing to the citizens of this country how childish and petty he acts/tweets. That is my main issue with him. I don't disagree with all of his policies, but the manner in which he acts is ultimately going to be his downfall.
And yes, he is the POTUS, but someone needs to let him know since he is obsessed with the 2016 election and can't stop talking about Hillary since he can't stand the fact that she received almost 3 million more votes than him. He should focus on the things that he has done well and learn that he is the POTUS and represents all of its citizens.

I bet you didn't care much for Obama and his policies. Do you hate America? Of course not, you just really, really, really disagreed with the President's vision for America. Same here.
Just because I disagree with you on somethings doesn't mean I think you hate America. My brain breaks when I think about people who have lost their way that much. You should really think and pray on that stuff. Your fellow American is as much an American as you. You've swallowed too much hate.
The news she watches/reads encourages hatred towards those with views that differ from her and the Trump base. Five minutes of Hannity is a great example of this.
