I know there have been other hip threads, but I’m kindly asking those of you who have had hip resurfacing done by Dr. Gross to jump in this thread and share your experience and how you’re doing. Any details are appreciated - How long ago you had surgery, your age, activity… anything is appreciated.
I’m young, healthy, and active, but I (surprisingly) need hip surgery. I’ve gotten over 6 opinions from surgeons across the country. It comes down to replacement vs resurfacing. I have a lot of active years left so it’s an important decision.
I’ve talked to Dr Gross and I’m very close to pulling the trigger on having him resurface my hip. I would love to hear 1st hand accounts from fellow tigers.
