Anyone watch it this past weekend? It only did $11 million domestically. 3 hours long and I still left feeling like they didn't at least wrap up part 1. Supposedly there's 9 more hours of movie coming in another 3 parts. 1 of which is already confirmed.
For anyone that saw it, what the heck was the last few minutes? Was that montage a preview of what is to come in part 2? Will part 2 pick up at the end of that sped up B role footage without any narration or context? It's hard to make a 3 hour film feel rushed and left unfinished but Costner did it. Also about half of the movie needed subtitles, the accents were overdone. Lots of characters were developed, and then some key figures were there, played a big role and left without so much as a mention.
