The house I overpaid for in Nashville is in need of a bunch of repairs that were neglected by the prior owner. In the attic, it's clear that I need to add insulation.
I'm looking for opinions on paying 1200 for blown in insulation vs 4x that for sprayfoam. I only hesitate because to spend more because the upstairs AC unit seems to absolutely cook all the time and it seems dumb to have cool vent runs in a 140 degree attic.
Any ideas?
